The end and the beginning
It’s hard to start a business on your own. It’s a lot of work. But you get to do what you want and do it your way.
There’s a catch, though. Ideas and opportunities don’t just materialize out of thin air. You’ve got to start somewhere. And that’s what Florian Fleischmann and Christian Vetter did in 2014 when they started HRForecast.
When Florian and Christian witnessed a massive layoff of employees at the company they worked for, instead of wallowing, they set their sights on a more sustainable area: HR management tools. Today, HRForecast offers smart people analytics tools, data intelligence solutions, and consulting services.
Give, and ye shall receive
The HRForecast team believes in rolling up their sleeves and being the change they wish to see in this world. Volunteering provides us with precisely that opportunity.
Amidst Russia’s ongoing war, we are focused on the safety of our team members in Ukraine. We started by providing them with direct financial assistance and several additional support resources. This was our top priority. Once our base camp of 120 people (our team members and their relatives) were safe, it was time to venture out and offer our support to others.

Knowledge shared is knowledge doubled
Without a doubt, our biggest asset is the people who work for us. Internal training for our staff leads to new conversations and even more opportunities for us to grow as a team!
As we gathered information and systems to sail forward in our work, we thought of one thing: “Wouldn’t it be nice to share what we know with others outside the organization?” In response, we launched an internship program that let our interns put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain new skills.

Going the extra mile, unprompted
We provide our team with flexibility, creating more opportunities for connection and redesigning our ways of working – together as one team.
At HRForecast, we’re always thinking about the future – and the future of work in particular. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, we relied on digital solutions to partner with clients and colleagues in order to do our best work – especially when team members are thousands of miles apart. Being a remote-first company is one of the features that helps us stay flexible no matter what.
Because we believe that businesses should leave society better than they found it, we’re intentional about taking on meaningful work, and how we structure and support our teams. We know that when you have a passion for what you do, it isn’t something you need to be in the office to do.
Dealing with data protection as a serious-as-a-heart-attack concern
We have a plan in place in case a data-security heart attack happens. We’ve come a long way in the data protection game, having built and tested our security policies for the last few years. We follow many essential security practices to eliminate risks and protect sensitive information. Our data privacy policies are embedded by default into everything we do with our clients and employees.

We believe everyone on our team can make a difference
Imagine what over 80 employees worldwide can accomplish when we work together with millions of people from different industries.
With employees on different continents, from a mix of cultures, and in four office locations, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is foundational to our identity. It differentiates us as an employer and makes us more attractive to top talent worldwide, strengthening our company.
A focus on DEI helps us make a positive difference in the lives of our own employees and millions of employees across the world. We’re excited to be members of Charta der Vielfalt, promoting our company’s diversity practices.
We take fun seriously too. Even if our business is serious, it doesn’t mean we can’t smile or have just a little fun… or maybe a lot! Check our get-together party dedicated to our seventh anniversary.
Signal to the world that we’ve arrived
Within eight years of operation, HRForecast received the prestigious Deloitte Fast 50 Award three times in a row. As our customer base has grown and we have expanded our operations and aims, it has led to consistent investment in our company by people who trust us. In fact, HRForecast have decided to invest 16.8 million euros into building the next generation of end-to-end HR solutions.
