Seven years ago, back in 2014, Florian Fleischmann and Christian Vetter started HRForecast, spurred by a massive release of employees from one large enterprise. This news encouraged Florian and Chris to build a sustainable HR management tool to help organizations do people management in a more intelligent way.
Started first as a consultancy, in 2017 company pivoted into SaaS, providing since then smart people analytics tools, data intelligence solutions, and consulting services. Like on day one, we’re encouraged to help companies future-proof their people and help people stay future-fit through developing skills that are critical for their companies.
On our 7th anniversary, we’d like to take a brief overview of key milestones and celebrate the people who contributed to these successes. Come take this brief tour with us!
Contributing to the global HR community
In pre-pandemic times we’ve been regular visitors – and keynote speakers at numerous global and local HR events. From HR innovation roadshows and HR forums, to BarCamps and startup gatherings, to tech talks and lectures at universities, we’ve hit over 150 events totally. And thanks to virtual opportunities, we keep being active at virtual events, panel discussions and webinars.
To share a few more memories, we’re taking a look back at ‘HR Expedition’ event (previously called ‘HR Safari’) we started in 2016 together with IHK München & HRInstruments. Old good times! (Let us know if you’ve joined HR Expedition 😊).
We also contributed to several books focused on HR-Trends, Cross-generational intelligence, Smart human resource management, Recruitment digitalization, People analytics, and a few more.
We also launched WTFVlog – What the Future video series, counting over 50 episodes, and were happy to have insightful interviews with industry leaders, such as Livia Freudl, Dr. Gunnar Binnewies, Christian Vetter, Prof. Andre Röhl, and Anouk Harde.
Also, we’ve been sharing insights, actionable strategies, and trends all around HR, talent management and analytics. Together with ESCP Europe Business School we conducted a global case study ‘Future of HR’, where we’ve explored more than 120,000 HR-specific job advertisements and investigated skill trends and requirements for HR.
Recently, together with German Federation of Chemical Employers‘ Associations (BAVC) and Mining, Chemical and Energy Industrial Union (IG BCE) we created a report, where we have analyzed the future trends, jobs and skills of the chemical industry and provided guidance for the industry, companies, and employees regarding the future requirements.
Customers stories
Today we’re partnering with 100+ companies representing a wide range of industries: telecom, automotive, engineering, chemical & pharma, agriculture, and beyond. Just a few recent great projects to mention are Siemens, Merck, and Continental. Besides, 50% of the DAX companies are our clients.
“I believe HRForecast is today reputed as a true innovation engine in the HR landscape, especially for global companies. I am proud that we are partners of over 50% of the German DAX companies. In the next years, I wish to see HRForecast scale even better, expand to more countries and eventually, improve the way how people are managed and work is done globally.”
Christian Vetter, Founder & CEO, HRForecast
The prize shelf
Headquartered in Munich and Bremen, HRForecast first expanded its geographical boundaries in 2019 opening an office in Ukraine. Also, as a result of recognition during German Accelerator 2020 program for South-East Asia, we opened another office in Singapore.
Among other memorable moments to mention, is getting on the list of the fastest growing tech companies in Germany in 2019 and 2020, and being featured as the Top People Analytics Provider by Josh Bersin. We also became winners of a bunch of awards: European Business Awards 2017 and 2019, Deloitte Fast 50 and HR Excellence Award 2019 are just a few to remember.
Still a people-driven company
Of course, all these achievements and milestones won’t be possible without a team of like-minded and passionate people.
Today HRForecast consists of 50 people representing 15 nationalities.
Along with being cross-cultural, we focus on building a team of like-minded professionals united by the same values and dedication to mutual growth and support. And since evolving jobs and skills are at the heart of HRForecast mission and vision, we keep developing skills ourselves.
One of the great examples of this vision is a journey of our longest-lasting teammate, Christian Resch, who’s been with HRForecast for about five years: started as IT administrator, he developed towards the designer role, then gained UX/UI expertise and headed to the product lead of our various products. Chris’ journey is a great representation of how HRForecast sees people development for large organizations as well: always keep developing skills that are critical for the organization and have a high future-fit.
To be continued
These were the great and bright 7 years, but we’re sure the best is yet to come and looking forward to new challenges, horizons, and future of work at its best. Thank you for being around and stay tuned!
