If you want to help HRForecast team members specifically and personally, read our letter below. If you prefer to offer donations in general, you will find charities here: Come Back Alive
Current situation
HRForecast traditionally has very strong ties with Ukraine – we brought our first team member on board in Ukraine about five years ago and have since built a great team of wonderful people. Therefore, the tragedy that currently befalls Ukrainians, affects us as well.
We are currently trying to help about 120 people (our team members + relatives) cope with these horrible times.
All our team members and their relatives are currently safe (as of 28.02./4 p.m.), but they are going through terrible times. One colleague has been sitting in a bomb shelter in Kharkiv with her four-year-old daughter for almost the whole time since Thursday, having to endure the detonations and explosions. Many others are fleeing across the country or trying to fight the attack back. Some colleagues have made it across the border and spend day and night helping provide shelter and food to those in need in Moldova and Poland. They are all our heroes!
How does HRForecast help?
We are in continuous contact with our team members in Ukraine. Of course, our team members continue to receive their regular salary, plus, additionally, any financial support they currently need. Besides that, the main material help we can deliver can be provided only after crossing the border: we arrange transportation, accommodation, food, and toys for kids. We are currently active at the border in Moldova and Poland.
How can you help?
Many of our business partners ask us directly: “What can we do for HRForecast people in Ukraine?”
Donations are the most effective way to help
You can help HRForecast team members and their loved ones firsthand. It has been legally clarified with our tax accountant.
Direct your donations to our bank account:

If you want to share wishes of support, words of encouragement, or want to specify your donation, send an email along to support.ukraine@hrforecast.de, including the (last digits of the) IBAN you donated from.
Should we be fortunate enough to have money left over, we will propose one or more charities to support or transfer it back to you.
I want to provide accommodation
We believe many Ukrainians will arrive in the EU soon. Actually, already today (28.02.) we have received multiple requests. If you or someone you know can provide accommodation for our team members, their relatives, and/or other people, please email support.ukraine@hrforecast.de including the following information:
- Your city
- Your contact details
- Capacities & duration you can host
- Other notes (e.g. restrictions on whom you can host, etc.
Medications
Due to the escalation of the situation in Ukraine, there are numerous wounded servicemen. So, there is an urgent need for medicine. Antiseptics, bandages, syringes, painkillers, adhesive plasters, drips, saline solutions, glucose, wet wipes, etc. are welcome. If you want to donate, please send them to:

Go to peaceful demonstrations
Showing support helps Ukrainians to keep their spirits up. Show them that you care.
Post your support on social media
Today, social networks are an integral part of our daily lives. This is another way and tool you can use to help. Post your support, thoughts, and offers, join charity programs.
Other support
We expect that the state of Germany/EU will support the refugees to get organized (e.g., registration, legal documents, etc.). There will be plenty of skills needed (translations EN/RU/UA/DE, legal work, organization, playing with kids, teaching, etc.) – if you have skills you’d like to share, let us know! Email support.ukraine@hrforecast.de and let us know how you can help. Also, check-in with local support organizations. There are plenty of activities being ramped up right now that might need additional help.
How can my employer help?
Ask them if they can support as well, e.g., by donating or providing bus services from the border.
Let’s stay together in these difficult times and show our support to each other!
Our team members and we will appreciate all the help and support you can provide!
