HRForecast management decided to establish a new function to manage the entire internal organization. The COO/CFO is responsible for enabling the entire organization in achieving our strategic goals and further expand our organization by making sure that internal processes and operations are working efficiently and compliant. Financial controlling, legal & governance, administration, and human resources management will be your areas of responsibility.
The COO/CFO reports to the CEO. This role will be ca. 50% strategic and 50% operational/administrative. The ideal person will have strong administrative and organizational skills, written and spoken communication, will be structured, versatile and open to new challenges.
Your duties:
- Be accountable for managing finances, HR, internal processes, and reporting
- Be responsible for finding the right balance between strategy & execution of your role & the areas you manage
- Manage a global team that works efficiently and compliant (areas: HR, finance, office infrastructure, legal, tax, policies & governance)
- Systematization and organization of business processes and regulations
- Define, implement and control all applications needed for an effective and efficient operation
- Be the ultimate owner of cash flow & P/L reporting
- Resolve commercial and legal issues with the support of lawyers and/or tax accountants
- Develop, implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures (e.g. yearly ISO 27001 audit and controls)
- Provide office infrastructure to newcomers and ensure that access management and user management always is in compliance
- Work with the management board toward common goals that are aligned with the broader organizational objectives
- Ensure smooth operations with the tax consultant
- Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable applications and partners in a strategic way
- Build and foster creative teams committed to continuing our culture of innovation & belonging
Main interfaces with other functions:
- Define job profiles & steer recruiting with the support of the HR function
- Close collaboration with customer experience, HR, and the management board to oversee and prioritize budgets and investments
- Be an integral part of the management team, overseeing and being accountable for all internal processes and finances
Your profile:
Experience/hard skills:
- Experience, interest, and ability in owning, refining, and driving processes and structures and thereby take the company to the next level
- The candidate must have the interest and ability to set up and establish structures and processes
- Proven track record in financial reporting and accounting tools and methods
- Experience in managing an administrative office
- Basic understanding of legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance (employees, suppliers, customers) as well as taxation
- Strong understanding of best practices in the areas of financial reporting, cash-flow management, HR management, and process design
- Ability to craft and execute processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English • Strong Presentation (ppt) skills
- Understanding ISO 27001 of advantage
