The outplacement process focuses on improving the skills needed for re-employment, such as writing resumes and covers letters, navigating job boards, interviewing, networking, and negotiating salaries.

Outplacement benefits the transitioning employee, who is more likely to reflect positively on the employer brand and avoid negative sentiments that could tarnish it.
